Getting started
What do I need?
A Wear OS 6 smartwatch paired with an Android phone, and the Watch Base app from Google Play. The app handles browsing, previewing, and installing watch faces on your watch.
How do I install a watch face?
Open the Watch Base app, pick a face from the collection, and tap Install. The app pushes it to your paired watch. Apply it from your watch’s face picker.
Are there free faces?
Yes — five faces are free and unlock automatically when you install the app. The other 45 unlock with a single lifetime purchase.
Purchases
How does the lifetime purchase work?
One in-app purchase unlocks all current and future faces in the Watch Base collection — for the lifetime of the app. No subscription, no per-face fees.
I bought it but the faces are still locked.
Open the app, go to Profile, and tap Restore purchase. If it still doesn’t unlock, email us from the same Google account you used to buy.
Can I get a refund?
Yes — see the refund policy. Google Play also offers refunds within the first 48 hours through your order history.
Watch faces
Will my favorite face from the old Watch Base catalog be in the new app?
Probably not. Wear OS 6 uses a new format and we rebuilt the collection from scratch with only the faces that fit the new platform. The 50 in the app are the canonical Watch Base catalog now.
Can I use a face as a phone wallpaper?
Not in the new app. The old Watch Base app supported live wallpapers; the new one focuses entirely on Wear OS 6 watch faces.
Does it work on Wear OS 5 or older?
No. The collection targets Wear OS 6 specifically — older versions don’t support the format and validation Google introduced with WOS 6.
